Marilyn Rowles passed away peacefully at her home on July 20, 2019. She was 92 years of age.
Mass of the Resurrection was held July 24 at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Grand Junction, with Father John Gerald of St. Joseph Catholic Church presiding.
Interment was at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Grand Junction.
Margaret Marilyn Rowles was born on March 31, 1927, to Tom and Teresa (Schall) Gannon. Marilyn was an active member of St. Brigid Catholic Church in Grand Junction, 9 Holers Golf League at Apache Wells in Mesa, AZ, and numerous clubs and organizations.
She was always willing to share her time and talents with others. Marilyn enjoyed playing bridge, sewing, golfing, fishing and square dancing. Her favorite times, though, were the ones spent with her family and friends.
Marilyn was preceded in death by Warren, her husband of more than 62 years; her daughter-in-law Judy Rowles; and her granddaughter Teresa Fagen.
Marilyn is survived by her children Lynn (Dennis) Havlicek of Veseli, MN, Rosemary (Dominic) Riccordino of Oak Lawn, IL, Peggy (Steve) Fagen of Perry, and Tom (Jayne) Rowles of Oxford; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.
Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home of Jefferson was in charge of arrangements.
